Osmer Sage Deming
is a member of Leisawitz Heller’s Trial Group and
concentrates his practice in the area of personal injury
litigation, general civil litigation and criminal defense.
Education & Experience
Before joining the firm, he was a law clerk to the Honorable Jeffrey L. Schmehl, Administrative Head of the Civil Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Berks County. Here, he was involved in the day-to-day management of Judge Schmehl’s civil cases and prior to that, Judge Schmehl’s criminal docket.
In 1994 Osmer received his B.A. from Eastern Michigan University with a double major in mathematics and English. He competed as a member of the university’s Speech Competition (“Forensics”) Team and COMAP Math Modeling Team. After graduation, he worked for a number of years as a schoolteacher in Muskegon, Michigan. He graduated from Dickinson School of Law in 2000 and went on to work briefly in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, primarily doing criminal defense. “We take timeliness and clients’ needs seriously,” says Osmer.
