Katherine Heintzelman
joined Leisawitz Heller in 2006 as a member of the Trial
Group and will concentrate her practice in the area of
business litigation. She is admitted to practice before
the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the United States
District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Education
Kate was a Presidential Scholar and co-captain of the
field hockey team at Franklin and Marshall College,
where she was recognized by the National Field Hockey
Coaches Association for outstanding academic and
athletic achievements. Kate was also honored by the team
in 2002 with the Hustle Award. In 2002, Kate graduated
from F&M with a B.A. in History. Upon graduation, Kate
attended Widener University School of Law in Wilmington,
Delaware, where she graduated cum laude in 2005. While
in law school Kate clerked for an insurance defense firm
in Wilmington and interned for the Honorable Jan R.
Jurden of The Superior Court of New Castle County. Kate
went on to serve as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable
Susan C. Del Pesco of The Superior Court of New Castle
County following graduation.
Kate was born and raised in Mountaintop, Pennsylvania.
Her parents relocated to Berks County in 2001 and her
father serves as the Pastor to St. Daniels Lutheran
Church in Robesonia. Kate currently resides in Exeter
Township. She is an avid sports fan and enjoys the
outdoors.
