Police should focus on aggressive driving

While many of us in Lebanon enjoyed our holidays and were able to relax with family, it probably came after a period of frantic preparations, running of errands and driving all over town for very specific (but necessary) items. Even now that Christmas has ended, there is still a lot that may need to be done: things may need to be returned and there are sales on many of the gifts people wish they had gotten. All of this likely means that people in Lebanon are driving aggressively and speeding.

Reading was site of national driver safety study

A national study recently came to Reading in an apparent attempt to learn whether Reading drivers follow safety procedures or abuse prescription drugs prior to driving. Although some people in town were angered by the survey, feeling that the government went too far by commissioning the study, those same people may have felt differently if they had been the victims of a car accident.

The damage caused by holiday drunken driving is far reaching

The holidays are meant to be a time of fun, family and celebration. People across Berks County get together with family and friends for parties, but those parties may be putting people at risk of drunk driving accidents. Unfortunately, some people may celebrate a little too much and take a risk driving home while intoxicated. The results can be disastrous and have long-lasting effects.

2 people in Amish buggy killed in Pennsylvania truck accident

Residents in some areas of Pennsylvania may be quite used to sharing the road with all kinds of vehicles, including Amish buggies. On many roads, we see the horse-drawn carriages traveling slower than motorized traffic and with reflective signing on the back to warn other motorists that they are there. We see them and we know we should be cautious driving around them.
