Trucks in Pennsylvania serve a variety of important purposes. Large commercial trucks do many of the construction and maintenance projects throughout the state. Without these large vehicles, these projects will be much more difficult to complete. Commercial trucks are also responsible for carrying goods throughout the state and transporting natural resources, such as gasoline, to places that need it.

However, commercial trucks do not come without risk. Commercial trucks are often responsible for dangerous and deadly truck accidents. Truck accidents can often result in very serious and fatal injuries to those involved in the accident.

Unfortunately, due to the size of trucks, often the injuries to other parties involved in the accident are much more severe than those to the truck driver. According to reports, this was recently the case in a Pennsylvania truck accident. In this accident, a water truck collided with a Lexus at around 2:25 a.m. Details about why the accident occurred are sparse but it has been said that it was a wrong-way accident.

However, as a result of the accident the driver of the Lexus was killed. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The truck driver, on the other hand, only suffered minor injuries in the accident. Police are continuing their investigation of this fatal accident to determine why it occurred.

When a tragic truck accident results in the death of a Pennsylvania resident, the family may want to consider a wrongful death suit. In this suit, people can receive some compensation for their loss. This compensation can never truly compensate the family for the sudden loss of a loved one, but it can help to hold a negligent truck driver or company responsible for the accident.
